Firle Provisional results

We hope you enjoyed today’s race and the special atmosphere of Firle Place despite the tough conditions.

Provisional race results can now be seen above – if you have any timing queries please let us know. There are a couple of duplicates which we’ll check via the finish camera and also a couple of missing times.  We’ll publish the final results on Wednesday.  Due to the re-routed finish section the 10km race was over 11km.Congratulations to the winners of the Half Marathon – Matt Bradford from Lewes AC who was 4^th last year and improved on his time despite the conditions and Sam Alavarez from Hailsham Harriers who won convincingly.  Tom Taylor from Mornington Chasers was the runaway winner of the long 10km race with Camila Chapman taking the ladies title.

Details of how to obtain your free race photographs can be seen on www.sussexsportphotography.com. They’re hoping the majority will be indexed and online later tomorrow.  We hope you can make use of the shoulder bag and Vitamin Water and Clif Bars – we may even consider medals for next year!

We’ll be submitting our usual race report to www.tri247.com and results to Athletics Weekly.

There were a couple of items of clothing left at the venue – a black top and a turquoise top so please let us know if you’re missing them.
