Bluebell Run – Scorching day forecast!

Solitary Bluebells 18th April 2010

Solitary Bluebells 18th April 2010

Well the bluebells are starting to bud in the sunny weather but are unlikely to be at their best for Sunday – that could be a week or so away.  However, the forecast looks really good if not a tad warm – 21 degrees, don’t forget your sun cream…it’s going to be hot in London too!   The course is now completely dry for the first time this year.  Some areas are rutted as you might expect and the grass section after 7km (by the Highland Cattle) is uneven – watch your footing.

Updated course maps can now be seen and downloaded below.  Thanks to Jannion and the Route Buddy Team for helping us with that – Their website is well worth looking at website www.routebuddy.com  A profile of the course can also be downloaded together with the km marker locations – see below.

Thanks to our partners L GUESS JEWELLERS from Littlehampton for sponsoring this and other events in the REP Series.

SIS drinks bottles await the finishers; thanks to Geared Bikes at Chichester in helping with this.  There will be a limited quantity of Clif Bar and Glaceau Vitamin Water at the finish so make sure you don’t miss out!  Dinckyccino – for freshly ground coffee on the go, will be serving supporters with their early morning drink.  Visit Adrian at www.dinkyccino.com

Finally it looks like we’ll be able to provide coverage of the London Marathon dependant on one or two technical issues!  We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
