Cuff Miller (Ford) Worthing Triathlon – Provisional Results
Provisional results are available on the EVENT PAGE. Congratulations to Colin Dixon from Hayling Island who continues to dominate this event and has now won it for the last 5 years – very impressive. Liz Pinches was one of a large contingent from Thames Turbo who made the journey down and was a worthy winner in the women’s race. Horsham Amphibians Mark Davis was first Vet over 40 together with Tuff Fitty’s Nicole Patterson. Brighton Phoenix’s Malcolm Hughes won the Supervet over 50’s with Team Cherwell’s Kim Shaw. A new category – Vintage for the over 60’s was won by Peter Mahoney from Portsmouth Triathletes and the oldest competitor Carol Killick from Steyning AC. Lewis Bertand-Shelton from Brighton Phoenix won the Junior category and the winners of the Relay Triathlon were Thames Turbo (James Ward, Mike Adams and Paul Smoothy) READ MORE
Cuff Miller Worthing Triathlon – Updated
THERE WILL BE A LIMITED NUMBER OF ENTRIES ON THE DAY for the Worthing Triathlon on Sunday 10th July. If you are thinking of entering, please try and do so on Saturday to free up up time on Sunday morning. The race follows the usual format; Men v Women v Vets and the first across the line wins a cash prime! Start times, race details and maps are on the event page (Event Schedule – above) together with an updated alphabetical and category competitor list (UPDATED FRIDAY 8/7/11). Racking is only available on Sunday morning, but registration is open on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The sea temperature over the last few days has been between 16.6 and 18.2 degrees – it will be slightly warmer inshore. The weather forecast shows 17-20 degrees, sun, cloud and light south westerly winds – perfect!
