British Aquathlon Championships | Results

Finish area - Littlehampton MarinaThe British Aquathlon Championships were a great success at Littlehampton today. British Aquathlon Champs – Entries on the day

On-line entries for the British Aquathlon Championships at Littlehampton are now closed. There will be entries on the day available, but please make sure you register between 1030 & 1100hrs.  Registration for those who have already entered is between 1030  & 1140hrs.  The races will start on time at 1200hrs – this is a tidal river.  Final competitor lists are on the event page. 1200hrs -Wave 1 – ALL FEMALES.  1205hrs – Wave 2- ALL MALE VETERANS (OVER 40). 1210hrs Wave 3 ALL SENIOR MALES (19-39).  1215hrs Wave 4 ALL NON BTF MEMBERS (CITIZENS WAVE). The sea temperature is now 17.9 degrees and likely to be warmer around the Marina. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday – the forecast looks good, sun, 22 degrees and light winds – perfect!

British Aquathlon Champs – Update

Additional race details have been added to the event page together with a competitor list which has been updated today (1800hrs Monday 25/7/11). There will be a further update on Thursday which is the closing date for online entries. There will be 4 waves starting at 1200hrs at 5 minutes intervals with the citizen’s wave starting last at 1215hrs.  The breakdown of waves will be determined when final numbers are known, but at this stage all females will be in the first wave, followed by all male veterans, then junior and senior males and finally the citizen’s wave.  It’s great to see that we have competitors from each age group up to ‘N’ (70-74yrs) READ MORE
