River Swim Start List
The forecast still looks good for tomorrow, sun, 21 degrees and light winds. WETSUITS ARE COMPULSORY. A final start list has been posted on the EVENT PAGE. A full briefing will take place at the holding point at Ford Church.
YOU MUST INFORM ONE OF THE ORGANISERS IF YOU WITHDRAW FROM THE RACE. If for any reason you appear to be struggling the race crew can withdraw you from the race. Please do not take too much luggage with you to Ford Church. If it doesn’t fit in our kit bag (bin liner) you’ll need to leave it at the finish or in your car. No valuables are to be taken to Ford Church, these are you responsibility. When you arrive at Ford there may be time to look at the river, however do not wander down to the start only onto the river bank. This will be the last year we’ll be manually timing this event. There is a digital clock on the ramp at the finish if you want to know your time immediately. Results will be online later in the evening.
