We will be organising our popular aquathlon from Worthing Yacht Club with its great facilities on the beach. This year we will be running the 1km sea swim and 10km run event from this venue. Worthing is between Brighton and Chichester in West Sussex. Water quality has been excellent over the last few years and we’ve had some great nights and sunsets on the Yacht Club balcony during prize giving with our Pimm’s. The swim will start from the Waterwise Gardens, in West Worthing and follow the shore and current to the Yacht Club ramp. The run will be along the coastal path and beach before heading inland along the Ferring Rife (stream) and along the Greensward before returning to the finish outside the Yacht Club. Showers bar and café facilities are provided before relaxing on the balcony. What a great way to spend a summer evening.

was small and the atmosphere relaxed... not a poser's race! It was well
organised with enough marshals and information. The run course was really
nice along the beach across concrete and grass, with occasional shingle.
