This is the events second year. The East Beach Café at Littlehampton is a significant landmark renowned restaurant & café right on the beach. Set alongside the River Arun; Britain’s second fastest flowing river, the east beach is a mixture of shingle and sand. The event will take place on Tuesday 28th August 2008 at 7pm in front of the new cafe. Littlehampton is on the south coast between Chichester and Worthing in West Sussex. The format for this race will be a 400m sea swim followed by a 4km run along the prom, before diving back into the warm water for another 400m swim and then the same 4km to finish on the beach in front of the café.
Cafes and pubs will be open during the event.
