Both events will be based within the impressive grounds of the Firle Estate and are an ideal test or training run on similar terrain to the Beachy Head Marathon a month later or one of the autumnal Marathons around the world. Both runs are challenging and include climbs to the top of the South Downs either via Bo Peep (10km) or Alfriston (Half Marathon). All the runs are set in this spectacular location with stunning view from the top of the downs. Countryside Catering will providing the food that so many of you raved about after the last years race. The Firle Estate has very kindly offered onsite camping on Saturday for those interested; so why not make it an end of season club race and pop along to the Ram Inn in Firle Village the night before the race (you will need to book though). Races will start from 09:30am.  We're looking to double the numbers in 2009 following the great Runners World profile (km/mile markers for 2009!)
